Phase Technology Releases Ultra-Thin Front/Surround Channel Speaker

Overland Park, Kansas – Phase Technology® has announced the availability of the new Teatro® TFS1.0 ultra-thin speaker. Designed with the same styling and sonic signature as the critically acclaimed Teatro TSB3.0 soundbar and Teatro TCE1.5 center channel eliminator speakers, TFS1.0 units may be used as center and front L/R or as surrounds to complement any of the Teatro products.

Two 3” woofers and two 3” passive radiators are provided in the TFS1.0, along with a ¾” soft dome tweeter. Woofers are polypropylene with NBR surround. The speaker measures 6.75” H x 18.5” W x 1.5” D at the edges (2.5” deep in the center). The cabinet is constructed of black brushed aluminum, with a black powder-coated pressure-fit aluminum grille. Sensitivity is 90 dB, with 100 watts of power handling.

The TFS1.0 may be mounted either vertically or horizontally and may be wall or table mounted. Mounting feet are included for horizontal tabletop mounting; an optional smoked Plexiglas stand is available for vertical tabletop mounting.

“Customers have been asking us for ultra-thin speakers to match their ultra-thin televisions, but with the signature Phase Technology sound,” said Ken Hecht, VP of R&D for MSE Audio. “Now, a full home theater system can be assembled from our world-class, ultra-thin Teatro speakers with minimal space requirements and superb sonic quality.”
