Our company culture of inventing, engineering, and discovering applications for new technologies has led us to changes in how loudspeakers work and created new categories for their uses. As a company we have defined categories and invented technologies that all other companies followed. For example, we invented the soft dome tweeter, the first neodymium drivers, ferro fluid cooling, dog ears for CI’s, all digital predictable home theater sound and have created new categories such as STNet PoE Audio over IP speakers and the hanging pendant speaker.

This year at InfoComm, SoundTube®, creator of The Original Pendant Speaker™ in 1985, has reinvented the category with launch of the Mighty Mite pendant speakers. The new speakers, with redefined aesthetics and patented technologies that enhance performance, will give designers options in the pendant category not available before. Mighty Mite is the only patented full-range pendant speaker with a built-in subwoofer eliminating the need for a separate sub and amplifier.

Also debuting are the Designer Sleeve DS31-EZ pendant speakers. They were developed to offer varying aesthetic options for near space applications that require a design element to meet décor needs. The speaker can be used with or without the sleeve based on the desired look with multiple contemporary slide-on sleeves to match any aesthetic.

We’ll show our full line of commercial audio solutions in our booth including SolidDrive, Rockustics, SoundTube’s Focal Point, with a demo of our STNet series of IP-enabled audio products including switches, amplifiers, speakers, and a soundbar including pendant, in-wall, surface mount and outdoor models.
