CM-EZ Speakers
One woofer and one 1.0 inch (25.4 mm) silk dome tweeter. Easy-access six-position tap switch for 25/70.7/100-volt and 16-ohm transformer bypass settings allows for easy ordering, stocking and installation. Reduced amplification costs and maximum efficiency 89.0 dB sensitivity, 16 ohm impedance and a sealed enclosure. Superior voice intelligibility with an average coverage angle of 95 (210 kHz, independently verified). Cost-effective 16 ohm settings allows for the use of multiples of two, four, or six speakers in a system using a standard amplifier without a transformer. Incorporates a painted steel grille with rust inhibitor for lasting durability. Ceramic input terminal accepts up to 10 gauge plenum rated signal wire and includes thermal fuse.
CS-EZs (Short Can) Speakers
Engineered for applications with limited plenum space incorporating a SoundTube-specific shallow backcan with an installed depth of only 3.5 inches. One woofer and one 1.0 inch (25.4mm) silk dome tweeter. Easy-access six-position tap switch for 25/70.7/100-volt and 16 ohm transformer bypass settings allows for easy ordering, stocking and installation. Reduced amplification costs and maximum efficiency of 88.0 dB sensitivity, 16 ohm impedance and a sealed enclosure. Superior voice intelligibility with an average coverage angle of 105 (210 kHz, independently verified). Cost-effective 16 ohm settings allows for the use of multiples of two, four, or six speakers in a system using a standard amplifier without a transformer. Incorporates a painted steel grille with rust inhibitor for lasting durability. Ceramic input terminal accepts up to 10 gauge plenum rated signal wire and includes thermal fuse.
RS-EZ Speakers
A coaxial speaker with BroadBeam Ring™ technology for consistently smooth high frequency sound, designed for open ceiling applications. The enclosure is constructed of injection molded ABS with glass fiber reinforcement for lasting durability in indoor or outdoor applications and has an aluminum grille with a protective powder coated finish. Hanging hardware with galvanized steel cables is included and features a built in hanging bracket and screw on cover plate for fast, easy and secure installation. The unit may be hung or mounted direct-to-conduit via the locking cover plate. RS-EZ speakers include a ceramic terminal input accepting up to 10 gauge plenum rated signal wire and a 6 position tap switch with transformer bypass position, as well as a 16 ohm impedance for easy daisy chaining in low voltage systems.
SM-EZ Speakers
SM-EZ speakers are an economical solution for integrators who need a surface-mount indoor or outdoor speaker option for music and paging applications. They incorporate a polypropylene woofer and an offset soft dome tweeter with waveguide to deliver superb intelligibility for background to foreground music and messaging. SoundTube's proprietary BroadBeam Ring™ technology ensures high intelligibility, even well off-axis. Enclosures are ported, with port plugs included for outdoor use; grilles and mounting hardware are powder coated aluminum. Mounting includes a proprietary, tool-free, low-profile Stealth™ bracket with a direct drive cam-wedge for stable and precise aiming up to 90 in one direction. Inputs are made via ceramic terminal strips, making these speakers suitable for European installations. A safety cable, wall mount bracket, conduit connector and port hole plug are all included.
